Six steps
Sample tosite restored
Soil sampling & analysis
We sample to identify contaminants and define the extent of contamination.
Excavation planning
We plan the excavation around regulatory, safety and site requirements.
Excavation & removal
Contaminated soil is excavated with dust control and worker protection.
Transport & disposal
Soil is characterized, manifested and hauled to an approved facility.
Confirmation sampling
Samples from the excavation confirm the remaining soil meets standards.
Backfill & restoration
The site is backfilled with clean material and regraded.
Why sampling first: excavating without defining the contamination either leaves soil behind or hauls far more than you need to. Sampling keeps the dig, and the disposal bill, the right size.
